Randolph J. Buchanan, partner of Prodigy Partners, LLC, uses his business background and prior experience as a certified public accountant and transactional attorney to help clients with their unique needs related to the sale of their businesses. Randolph is a native of Dallas, Texas who graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with both a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master’s of Professional Accounting. He is also a graduate of the Southern Methodist University School of Law and has a LL.M in Taxation from New York University.

Prior to Prodigy Partners, LLC, Randolph worked for the Internal Revenue Service as a tax attorney in their Large and Mid-Size Business section. In addition, he worked as a corporate, tax and estate planning attorney for a small boutique law firm.  Before law school, Randolph worked as a certified public accountant in taxation for two Big Six accounting firms, KPMG and Coopers & Lybrand.
Randolph is a current member of the State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association (ABA), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Texas Society of CPAs, the American Association of Attorney-CPAs, and a Texas Exes Lifetime Member. He’s a licensed certified public accountant from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
